Some of this work starts with an idea. Some of it starts with friction. Either way we look at the business, find where complexity is eating capacity, and build the structure to carry what comes next.
We map how the work actually moves, then build the systems and tools that take the recurring decisions off your desk. Fractional CTO when the decisions are bigger than the tool.
02Accounts, payments, GPS, push, the App Store. Built with the owner in the room.
03A site built with you, finished properly, and findable by Google, Maps and the AI assistants people ask now.
It doesn’t always land there. Sometimes the answer is a process, a hire, or killing something you already pay for every month.
Growth adds people, tools, customers and steps. None of it looks like a problem on its own. Together they take up the room you used to think in. We find where that is happening and build the structure that gives the room back.
You need to know what you are not willing to sacrifice before the pressure comes. What you believe. Who you are. What you are actually trying to build. What deserves your time and what does not.
Conviction has to turn into structure. Strategy, decisions, systems, processes, people, technology, execution. Most of our work happens here. We build the structure around what you are carrying.
Getting bigger is not enough when it is at the expense of what is important to you. Just because the business is getting bigger does not mean you have the capacity to carry it. The business and the person running it both have to develop the capacity to carry, steward, sustain and multiply what got built.
We don’t only advise from outside businesses. We have built, operated, grown, changed and learned inside real companies and ventures of our own. Some of what’s below was built with a client. The rest we built, and we still run.
Every one of these is live, and every link on the work page goes to the real thing →
Describe what you are building like you are texting a friend who happens to build things. If it is an idea, you will see a real one like yours, free. If it is already running and the seams are showing, this is where you get it out of your head and see where the friction actually is. You own everything.

The structure around the Builder matters. So does what is being developed inside them.
Novara builds the infrastructure a business needs to carry what comes next. The Builder’s Oil is where Karen and Eric go deeper into the beliefs underneath how we build. Stewardship, identity, wisdom, capacity, leadership, faith, family, and what it takes to faithfully carry what you are building.
Karen and Eric have built and operated a company together for thirteen years. Most of what we believe about building came from carrying it, not from studying it.
You tell us what you’re building and where it’s binding. We look at it and come back with what we actually see. No call required, and you keep what we send either way.
Once we understand what you’re carrying, we tell you where the complexity is and what structure it would take. Sometimes that’s something we build. Sometimes it’s a process or a hire, and we’ll say so.
Strategy, operating systems, workflows, automation, AI, technology, design, software, a new product, or a new business. Scoped to the problem, not to a package.
Tell us the business and what’s binding right now. A real person reads it and writes back in plain language. Yours to keep either way.
We don’t quote a system before we understand what it has to carry. Fixed prices exist for the smaller, well-defined pieces, and they live on their own pages.
